MITIGATED DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE – Modified
Description of proposal: The City of Puyallup is proposing to replace the existing Salmon Springs Transmission Main along Salmon Creek Tributary from just below the existing concrete dam to the existing chlorination compound in the City of Sumner. The original Mitigated Determination of Non-
Significance (MDNS) was issued 12/10/15. This modified MDNS is issued in response to the
applicant’s revised SEPA checklist (updated 02/19/16) to include additional minor revisions such
as: piers for a temporary maintenance bridge, additional measures to protect trees, location of
staging area, and location of off-site mitigation site along Salmon Creek.
