On October 9, we celebrated the Cannery Way Bridge with a small ceremony for our funding partners. There are still more details coming–like the pedestal lanterns–but on the whole, the bridge is completed.

Because the former Bridge Street bridge was dedicated in 1927, we used a similar vintage Model A to “cut the ribbon” on the new bridge. In addition, we’ve also been testing the lights. They have special preprogramed color schemes for holidays and special events. A time-lapse of the test shows how beautiful they will be.
