Nothing says fall like a beer or cider tasting (… with a lot of wine in there too!) Come join the fun in downtown Sumner where $35 will give you 8 tastings. Shop our historic retailers and dine in our quaint cafes and restaurants, as this is the perfect time to get a jump start on your holiday shopping!
As you consider purchasing your Autumn Sip & Shop tickets, we wanted to take this time to share a bit more information about the event (and what to do when you get here):
*Please remember that since this is an alcohol tasting event, it is designed for participants 21+. While we love kids, we do suggest leaving them at home as you would not be able to enter most locations if they are with you (… because remember, we’re turning our great downtown businesses into ‘bars’ for the duration of this event).
*First pour happens at 4pm, last pour at 7pm! While Sip & Stroll begins at 4pm, the Check-In/Cashier booth will be open starting at about 2pm … so get there early, beat the lines, and explore downtown or grab a bite to eat while you wait!
*Several parking options are shown on the attached tasting menu & map; however, these spaces will fill-up the closer it gets to the event start at 4pm. Please know there is also street parking in the blocks surrounding downtown, as well as potentially spaces closer to the Sounder Station as well.
*The check-in process should be easy for those that pre-register! The Check-In/Cashier booth will be located in the parking area between Trackside Pizza and the old Bank of America in downtown Sumner (at 921 Alder Ave)
*Have your ID ready as the first step in the process is getting your wristband (… bringing a copy of your Eventbrite registration is handy, but not necessary, as we will have your name on the registration list)
*If you have additional guest that want to join, but did not pre-register, they will be able to pay ‘day-of’ at the Check-In/Cashier booth … however, the cashier line does get long, so we encourage getting tickets ahead of time!
*After you check in you will receive your commemorative tasting glass, eight (8) tasting tickets (for your ‘tasting pour’) and an event map/guide; additional tickets can be purchased at the Check-In/Cashier booth throughout the evening.
*PLEASE USE CAUTION THROUGHOUT THE EVENT, AND MAKE GOOD DECISIONS WHEN IT IS OVER! Designate one member of your party to be the driver, and/or if needed please leverage services such as Uber and Lyft!
