Project Name: Zoning Code Text Amendment – Administrative CUP and Variance

Description of Proposal: The proposed zoning code text amendment would allow for certain variances and conditionally allowed uses to be a director’s decision following public notice and a public comment period, administrative decisions could be appealed to the Hearing Examiner.  This administrative process would streamline the permitting process for small scaled proposals and smaller businesses, while still providing opportunity for public comment.
