Poulsbo RV is under construction now in Sumner. They are locating on 10 acres off 136th Avenue East that also front SR 167 just north of the 24th Street interchange. This will be a new dealership with a 25,000-square-foot sales office and service department and large outdoor display area. This will be Poulsbo RV’s sixth dealership in the Puget Sound region. The company began in 1986 in Poulsbo.
With Washington’s destination-based sales tax structure, this addition greatly benefits Sumner. Sales tax accounts for the highest percentage of our revenue for essential services in the General Fund. This kind of retail, along with the addition of Fat Zach’s pizza’s first brick and mortar location, a drive-through Starbucks, a 7-Eleven, the second hotel (a Candlewood Suites), really moves forward the vision for the 24th Street interchange commercial zone established long ago. These businesses join the Holiday Inn Express, Big Foot Java, Subway, Mustard Seed Gas Station/Truck Stop, Washington Tractor and Branks BBQ.
