The Cities of Sumner is requesting interested consulting firms to submit proposals for providing a Transportation Impact Analysis for the proposed Town Center Plan update, which will consider changing the zoning for the Town Center to allow for additional height, density and mixed-use of residential and commercial development. Additionally, the City of Sumner has a proposal submitted to review potential Comprehensive Plan amendment for properties on Main Street East between Valley Avenue East and Graham Avenue, both sides of the Main Street East. The proposal includes increasing height to five to six stories and between 120 to 160 dwelling units to the acre.
