The City of Sumner solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in engineering and construction management services related to the utility and transportation public works projects.  Services are anticipated to commence in the fourth quarter of 2019 and extend for approximately two (2) years with the option for the City of Sumner to extend it for additional time and money if necessary.

The City of Sumner reserves the right to amend terms of this “Request for Qualifications” (RFQ), to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses.  The City of Sumner reserves the right to retain the services of responsive firm(s) for subsequent phases including construction management services associated with this project.  Prospective consultants will be held to the ADA and Civil Rights language adopted by the City of Sumner.

Project Description

The City of Sumner was recently awarded a grant to improve the water quality in Salmon Creek by providing enhanced treatment of surface runoff from 160th Avenue East extending south from Main Street approximately 650 feet.  The project will also install pervious concrete sidewalks on the east side of 160th Street East.
