Notice of Application and SEPA Determination

Notice is hereby given that the City of Sumner Environmental Official has received a SEPA Checklist and application for the proposed adoption of the Main Street Visioning Plan 2021 with design concepts for improvements to Main Street in historic downtown Sumner, as described below.

Comments are due by November 29, 2021 to annsi@sumnerwa.gov. The public has the right to review the contents of the official file for the proposal, provide written comments, participate in the public hearings/meetings, and request a copy of the final decision.


Proposal Name: SEPA Review for Main Street Visioning Plan 2021

Proposal Description: SEPA environmental review for a proposed adoption of the Main Street Visioning Plan, 2021 that includes pedestrian design concepts and improvements for Main Street; alley activation and re-design and pedestrian amenities and plaza around Heritage Park in historic downtown Sumner.  No project is proposed at this time.

Comment Period: There is no comment period for this DNS. This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340 (2); the lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the issued date above. A future public hearing before the Sumner Planning Commission on this proposal has been scheduled and will be under a separate notice.
