Most projects require the posting of multiple bond(s) or assignment of fund(s) as a financial guarantee that you will complete the project. The bond amount will be determined by the city based upon a stamped engineer’s estimate that you will provide. The bonds must be posted prior to permit issuance.

All contractors are required to have a Certificate of Liability Insurance on file, and a City of Sumner Business License.
