The City of Sumner uses NextRequest web portal to assist you in requesting public records. A public record is any record containing information relating to the conduct of government business, which is prepared, owned, used, or retained by an agency. Public records are retained by the City in accordance with the Secretary of State’s retention schedules. A valid public records request is a request for a specific and identifiable public document. Requested records are prohibited from being used for a commercial purpose.
