Last Friday, Sumner Police Department’s Detective Chief McCurdy joined Officers Devore and Boone to run the East Pierce County leg of the Special Olympics Washington Law Enforcement Torch Run alongside athlete Matthew, carrying the Flame of Hope in honor of the movement’s 50th Anniversary.
