All offers of employment are conditional upon an applicant’s successful completion of pre-employment screenings.
After you submit your application online, you will recieve an email confirmation. Applications are typically reviewed after the submission deadline. All candidates are notified of their progress via email. If you haven’t heard back about your application, please be patient, we will sometimes be reviewing hundreds of applications and we give each and every one careful consideration.
Your application submission needs to include all of the required documents as outlined in the job announcement. If you aren’t sure what you are missing, carefully review the job announcement again. The required documents are listed in the Supplemental Information section of the job description, and the requirements vary by position.
If you can no longer find the job announcement on the employment website, then you may have missed the deadline. Please do not send any missing documents by email, we will not open or view them.
If you want to be considered for another position, you must apply for that position when it is open.
We do not begin reviewing applications until after the position is closed. If you are an early applicant, you might not hear back for two weeks or more. Please be patient. All candidates will receive a response one way or another via email.
Unfortunately, you must submit all documentation with your application. We will not accept, view or open unsolicited documents from applicants. If you accidently left off additional documents, you can submit an additional application through the governmentjobs.com website and make sure that all documents are included with your second application. Only the most recent submissions are reviewed when there are multiple applications submitted. If the position has already closed, you can bring the additional documents with you if you are invited for an interview.
