We are pleased to welcome you to all activities and services for those 55 and up!  

  • Lunch is served Monday–Friday at Noon.
    • Suggested donation: $3.50 for guests 60 and over
    • Cost: $6 for guests under 60
  • Reservations for lunch are required only on Music Days.
    • Please call at least one week in advance for “Party and Music Days.”
  • Our staff is available by phone to answer questions or assist with resources.

Lunch Menu for April 2026 at Sumner Senior Center. Header includes the Catholic Community Services logo and phone 253-863-2910. Meals are for seniors 60+ (suggested $3.50 contribution) and others ($6), served at noon. Menu listings: - April 1: Beef Noodle Soup, Carrot Pineapple & Raisin Salad, Oatmeal Cookie. - April 2: Birthday and Easter Party (Reservations full). Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Green Beans, Roll, Green Salad, Strawberry Shortcake. - April 3: Good Friday. No meal service, though center is open for activities. Major Announcement: A large red text box states 'Meal Service is CANCELED beginning April 3rd due to remodeling of the senior center. If anything changes, we will let you know.' Footnote includes a health warning regarding consuming mishandled leftover food.

Beyond the Borders Connector

The Connector buses are still running! They are using On Demand pick-up for senior and low-income individuals. If you think you qualify, contact them for shuttle service to grocery stores, pharmacies, and other essential needs.  Please continue to observe social distancing.   Click here for information and details to sign up for service.
