NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE SUMNER CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Sumner has fixed Monday, August 17, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at 1104 Maple Street, Sumner, Washington, during a duly noticed meeting of the City Council as the time and place for a hearing on the declaration of certain real property, ten parcels identified as parcel numbers 0520193208, 0520192163, 0520192138, 0520192135, 0520192134, 0520192126, 0520193180, 0520193181, 0520193182, and 0520193183 and commonly known as the Bill Heath Sports Complex (the Property) as surplus to the City’s needs and authorizing the City to negotiate and execute an intergovernmental transfer of the property, authorized by RCW 39.33, to the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District who will continue to operate the Property as a sports and recreation complex. All persons who may desire to provide testimony are hereby notified to appear and present such testimony at such hearing.
