Our online utility bill pay system is currently down. The software vendor is looking into the issue. In the meantime, we will not proceed with shut-offs as scheduled for 2/28/23 and will update the timeline when the system returns. You can still pay by credit card, check or cash at City Hall.
Across the nation, residents are being targeted by a nationwide phishing scheme in which scammers send “final notice” texts about unpaid tickets or citations—often from numbers beginning with +63—and even impersonate non-existent agencies like the “Seattle Department of Motor Vehicles.” Please be aware:
– These texts are NOT from the City of Sumner or Sumner Municipal Court.
– The court will never notify you of a ticket or citation via text message.
– Do not click any links or reply. Delete these messages immediately.

If you have questions about a genuine citation, contact the Sumner Municipal Court directly at (253) 299-5510 or visit our official website at sumnerwa.gov. Please share this alert with friends and family so everyone stays safe!
