Our online utility bill pay system is currently down. The software vendor is looking into the issue. In the meantime, we will not proceed with shut-offs as scheduled for 2/28/23 and will update the timeline when the system returns. You can still pay by credit card, check or cash at City Hall.

Sumner is blessed to have a vibrant and growing Hispanic population. While celebrations occur throughout the year, September 15-October 15 is National Hispanic Heritage Month. The observation of this month began in 1968 and expanded in 1988 and is a great time to celebrate and learn more within our community and across the nation. The National Archives Hispanic Heritage Month website offers numerous opportunities “to recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic American champions who have inspired others to achieve success.”

You can watch a concert or join a workshop being held virtually across America.

How do you learn more about or celebrate your own Hispanic Heritage in and around Sumner?
