NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sumner SEPA Official has issued a determination of non-significance on a Zoning Code Text Amendment to address Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Sumner Municipal Code Title 18 Zoning.

The public has the right to review the contents of the official file for the proposal, provide written comments and request a copy of the final decision. Comments may be emailed to the staff contact below or mailed to the attention of the staff contact at 1104 Maple St. Sumner, WA 98390.
Comments will be accepted if filed with the Development Services Department on or before 5:00pm on September 2, 2026
