BNSF work is continuing in downtown Sumner, and the affected roadway remains closed and impassable.
BNSF is working to complete the necessary repairs and currently estimates the roadway will reopen sometime tomorrow, October 1.
Drivers should avoid the area and use alternate routes. We will provide additional updates as more information becomes available.
