Our online utility bill pay system is currently down. The software vendor is looking into the issue. In the meantime, we will not proceed with shut-offs as scheduled for 2/28/23 and will update the timeline when the system returns. You can still pay by credit card, check or cash at City Hall.

On Tuesday night, our Council Meeting did not air live on YouTube as it’s supposed to do. We’re looking into the reason why that happened to prevent any future issues. In the meantime, we uploaded the video from the meeting to our YouTube Channel, and it is now available for viewing. Our apologies for the delay.

Typically, when a Council Meeting is happening, you can watch it live on YouTube by going to either our YouTube Channel (link) or watching the window embedded at the bottom of our website homepage. You can also watch Council Meetings live or archived on Pierce County TV (link). You are also always welcome to join the meeting via Zoom and watch it live that way. The Zoom links are in both the online calendar listing (link) and the agenda for each meeting (link).

After a meeting, you can watch past meeting videos on either YouTube or Pierce County TV. YouTube includes both Study Sessions and Council Meetings while Pierce County TV films just Regular Council Meetings. You can also access an online archive of past meeting agendas, minutes and meeting videos (link).

Technology has greatly expanded access to meetings and information in the last few years. We’ll do all we can to keep it working correctly!
