The City of Sumner worked in partnership with the University of Washington-Tacoma (UWT) Urban Design Studio Class to create a Main Street Visioning Plan that identifies a range of enhancements to Main Street, between Traffic Avenue and Wood Avenue, in Downtown Sumner. The Visioning Plan outlines enhancements to Reuben Knowblauch Heritage Park, updates to the Main Street streetscape itself and ways to activate alleys downtown. These projects advance the City’s goals for equity, economic development, quality of life in downtown, transportation, and mobility, safety, and infrastructure upgrades.
Parking Changes
