SEPA Determination of Non-Significance
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sumner SEPA Official has issued a determination of non-significance on a proposed Zoning Code Text Amendment (ZCTA) related to Manufactured Home Park Overlay Zone as described below. Additional details can be found below and with the project documents.
The public has the right to review the contents of the official file for the proposal, provide written comments and request a copy of the final decision. Comments may be emailed to the staff contact below or mailed to the attention of the staff contact at 1104 Maple St. Sumner, WA 98390.
Comments will be accepted if filed with the Community Development Department on or before 5:00pm on July 2, 2025.

Description of Proposal: Proposed zoning code text amendment related to Manufactured Home Park (MHP) Overlay zone. The proposal would update Sumner Municipal Code chapter 18.34 to specify that a MHP is the only allowed use in the overlay and would only apply to MHPs existing prior to January 1, 2025. The code will allow for residents of the mobile home park to apply to the City for a Mobile Home Park Overlay Zone if the residents become vulnerable to displacement.
