NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sumner SEPA Official has issued an DNS threshold determination for the city of Sumner’s Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) Plan Four-year update. Additional details can be found below and with the project documents.
The public has the right to review the contents of the official file for the proposal, provide written comments and request a copy of the final decision. Comments may be emailed to Chrissanda Walker at chrissandaw@sumnerwa.gov or by mail to 1104 Maple St. Sumner, WA 98390.
Comments will be accepted if filed with the Community Development Department on or before 5:00pm on April 21, 2025.

Description of Proposal: The 2025-2029 Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) plan for the City of Sumner outlines policies and strategies to reduce single-occupant trips through employer-based transportation programs that incentivizes alternative transportation. The CTR plan, as well as the previous CTR ordinance has been developed to meet the requirements of the Washington State Commute Trip Reduction Act (RCW 70A.15.4000-4080). The CTR program is a policy guiding document that outlines the strategies for Sumner, along with other agencies, to implement and assist employers in meeting the goals of the plan.
