Last week, Mayor Bowman officially swore in our new Community Service Officer, Jake Thompson. CSO Thompson brings years of experience and is already familiar to many of us at the Sumner Police Department, having previously worked alongside members of our team before joining Sumner. We’re excited to welcome him and look forward to the experience and dedication he brings. Please join us in giving CSO Thompson a warm welcome!

**AS OF 11:40 AM 1/13/26vTHE BOIL WATER NOTICE HAS BEEN LIFTED**

We have issued a boil water notice for residences on 63rd St Ct E, east of Parker Road.

A contractor hit our water line. Although our Public Operations department has repaired and flushed the line to restore service, we need residents to boil water until the sample is returned from the lab, likely tomorrow. If you are affected, watch your front door for further updates from Public Operations (a door hanger). This is required, standard procedure whenever a water line loses its normal pressure.
