Plant Wisely Now to Reduce Water Use Later

You know those little tags that are included in plants you buy at the store? They’re not just there to remind you what you planted. They also give advice on how big the plant will get and whether or not it likes full sun, partial sun or shade. Follow that advice to help reduce your water use this summer. Don’t stick a shade-loving plant in full sun. It will not be happy all summer, even if you try to drown it with water.
