NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sumner is considering the vacation of the right-of-way described below.


Project Name: Highland Street Partial Right-of-way Vacation

Location: A 30-foot wide portion of the public right of way known as Highland Street, which lies adjacent and parallel to 142nd Ave. E. (see diagram below)

Description of Proposal: Conduct a public hearing before the City Council for consideration of vacating the above-described portion of right of way. This portion of public right of way was dedicated to the City in 1909 and is not currently being used for travel or utilities. Parts of two residential parcels, 0420251160 and 0420251159 lie within this portion of the right-of-way.
