Riding Sound Transit’s Sounder Train or 578 bus is a great way to get to Wednesday’s Seahawks Championship Parade from Sumner. However, long-term parking is already extremely limited around our Sound Transit station with normal commuters and the garage construction. Here are some tips to use transit from Sumner while avoiding a parking penalty:
- Ask a friend to drop you off at the station. There’s a drop-off pullout right on Traffic Avenue.
- If you live close by, walk to the station. The weather forecast looks great!
- Park at the Bonney Lake Park & Ride and ride the connecting 596 shuttle.
