| I wish Brad all the best for a well-deserved retirement. The sign of a great leader is not just what they do in the job they’re in but also how they elevate those around them. Selfishly, I wish we had him here longer, but I also know he has made the Sumner Police Department a very strong department, not just for today, but for years to come. That’s quite a legacy, and one for which Chief Moericke should be very proud. Please take a moment to watch this short video from his retirement party yesterday.
