This week, on August 5 & 6, Pierce County crews will be helping us refresh our road stripes. Please be patient if following the crew and do not drive through the wet paint. (There’s always one.) Review the map below for roads getting a stripe refresh this year.

A street map of the City of Sumner titled '2026 Paint Line Striping Refresh'. A legend indicates that roads highlighted in blue are scheduled for a paint line refresh, while brown lines represent other city roads. The blue highlights cover major arteries including West Valley Hwy E, sections of 24th St E, 142nd Ave E, East Valley Hwy E, and a dense grid in the downtown area including Main St, Maple St, and various numbered streets between 52nd and 64th. The map includes a north arrow and the City of Sumner logo.
