We will be improving the water main and water service along Valley Avenue, north from SR 410 to Gary Street and south from SR 410 to 74th St E. Unfortunately, this work requires some traffic impacts on a very busy route. Starting Monday, November 9, traffic will need to shift, using the center lane to keep a single lane open in each direction from 7 am to 5 pm. This work is expected to last daily through January 14. Expect minor delays, which will likely be longer during commute times.
In addition, there will be two full closures on the route the evening of November 19 and the evening of November 23. There will also be some nighttime construction from November 19 through December 8. We apologize that adjacent homes may hear construction noise through the evening; this evening work avoids further impacts to traffic and access to homes during daytime and commute times.
