Warning: Scammers are impersonating Metro staff/animal control officers, targeting pet owners. This is a new low. They claim to have the owner’s missing pet but demand payment for their return. They even threaten to kill the pet if not paid. Again, this is a scam. If we have your missing pet, we happily return it to you. We do charge a structured impound fee as a critical way for us to recover our costs for finding and housing your pet. However, it is NEVER a threat. If you think you are a victim of this scam, please hang up. You can always check with us directly at 253-299-PETS to see if we have your missing pet.
