Winco Car Theft & Shooting

Sumner, WA — On 11/20/23 at about 11:30 pm, two subjects asked a woman for money in the parking lot of Winco in Sumner. When she reached into her purse to get them some cash, they fought her for her purse and stole her car keys. A passerby in a vehicle tried to intervene and one of the subjects drew a handgun and fired at the passerby, striking the driver’s door of his car. The subjects fled in the victim’s white Honda CRV, license BNN7357. As they were fleeing, the subjects shot at a second passerby’s vehicle, striking the car and causing non-life-threatening injuries to the victim’s face.
