From WSDOT: Traffic Avenue ramp to westbound SR 410 closes during daytime hours for road repairs
From 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, through Thursday, April 9, the Traffic Avenue on-ramp to westbound State Route 410 will close. The shoulder of westbound SR 410 near Traffic Avenue will also close.
The closures create a work zone for Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews to repave deteriorating asphalt.
This is emergent work that is being addressed as soon as schedules and equipment allow. This work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled if it rains.
During the closures, travelers are advised to use the Valley Avenue ramp.
Plan ahead
People who typically use this on-ramp are encouraged to go before or after work hours. Travelers also should consider postponing discretionary trips.
Whenever near work zones please:
- Slow down – drive the posted speeds for worker and traveler safety.
- Be kind – workers are out there helping to keep people safe and improve the roadways.
- Pay attention – both to workers directing travelers and surrounding traffic.
- Stay calm – expect delays, leave early or take alternate routes if possible; no meeting or appointment is worth risking someone’s life.
