Our online utility bill pay system is currently down. The software vendor is looking into the issue. In the meantime, we will not proceed with shut-offs as scheduled for 2/28/23 and will update the timeline when the system returns. You can still pay by credit card, check or cash at City Hall.
Travelers on State Route 167 and SR 410 in Sumner should prepare for overnight lane closures starting March 11, due to work by the Washington State Department of Transportation. This work, necessary for the replacement of cable barriers, guardrail repairs, roadway marking updates, and enhancements to landscaping and electrical systems, will require single lane closures on northbound SR 167 from SR 161 to SR 18, primarily from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday. Additionally, westbound SR 410 near the SR 162 interchange will see closures from 9 p.m. on March 28 to 5 a.m. the following day, and again from 9 p.m. on March 29 to 7 a.m. on March 30. The project is slated for completion by April 20, with any updates or changes to be announced via the WSDOT app and statewide travel map.
