We received this construction notice from Sound Transit regarding the Sumner garage project:
Increased noise due to on-site demolition work with weekend work expected
What
- Starting on Wednesday, Jan. 14, Sound Transit’s contractor will begin on-site demolition work at the Sumner garage construction site. This work is expected to last approximately 4 to 5 weeks. During this time, expect loud sounds very similar to a high strength pressure washer. The noise will be within the allowed volume limits.
When
- Starting Jan. 14.
- Weekend work planned on Saturdays, Jan. 17, Jan. 24, and Jan. 31 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- More work will be done during normal weekday permitted hours.
