NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sumner has received a SEPA application the Fryar Avenue Trail project. Additional details can be found below and with the project documents.

The public has the right to review the contents of the official file for the proposal, provide written comments, and request a copy of the final decision.

Project Name: Fryar Avenue Trail

Location: Fryar Avenue existing and acquired ROW with some development and easements on parcels

Description of Proposal:
The City of Sumner is applying for the construction of approximately 3,300 feet of new trail/sidewalk connecting West Main street to Fryar Avenue. Approximately 140 feet of the trail will be on a pin pile bridge and several retaining walls are proposed in order to minimize trail footprint impact. Some sections of the trail will be within shoreline jurisdiction. Stormwater features will be relocated as needed to accommodate the trail and maintain existing drainage patterns, no new discharge to the White river are proposed. Approximately 2,700sf of concrete will be removed from shoreline as part of this project mitigation along with new shoreline planting and invasive species removal.
